I’ve never been sailing. I’ve never run three miles in a row, heart pitter pattering with happiness at that sort of freedom. I’ve never been the best at anything, though I have tried. I haven’t done most things, and that’s just the way of it. But I have stayed up all night to watch the sun rise, to feel the first light touch my face, and know the deeper truth of being part of something more than just myself. I have looked into your eyes and seen myself reflected there, and it is enough.
