Why is it that younger people have to get older in order to realize that older people aren't stupid and should be listened to? Maybe that's why we haven't progressed much as a civilization. Will anyone ever learn and take advantage of all of the years of experience and wisdom?

This is SO true....now that I'm in school, I savor the time that my mother and I spend together.. and I listen to EVERYTHING, even if she doesn't think I do :). Your works always know how to touch people, and say just the right thing!
