Wedding Day Gift Ideas

Look, they're already going to be getting plenty of towel sets, so how about something a little more creative? A pasta maker that produces every conceiveable kind of noodle would probably be your best bet but since none of our sculpture designs feature this capabililty yet, we have settled on a slightly different form of nuptial magic & made a list of some of Brian's best Wedding & Romance related stories...

No Words:  I read once that the ancient Egyptians had fifty words for sand & the Eskimos had a hundred words for snow. I wish I had a thousand words for love, but all that comes to mind is the way you move against me while you sleep & there are no words for that.

Vases Making Room:  When I first met her, I knew in a moment I would have to spend the next few days re-arranging my mind so there'd be room for her to stay.
(Also: see the "...for him to stay." version)

Possible Love:  She learned to love him before he thought it was even possible, so he didn't have a chance to hide & mess it up & while it was a little scary at times, mainly he could not even imagine the world without her there.

Favorite Places:  I'm not that good at being a tourist because I'm always looking at the way the light shines in your hair or the way your dress opens to the wind & my favorite places in the world are places filled with you.

Late Night:  In the end, I think that I will like that we were sitting on the bed, talking & wondering where the time had gone.

Framed Prints Kindred Spirits:  You're the strangest person I ever met, she said & I said you too & we decided we'd know each other a long time.

Side by Side:  We sat side by side in the morning light & looked out at the future together.

Mr. Right:  He loved her for almost everything she was & she decided that was enough to let him stay for a very long time.

Single Mind:  If I love you with all my heart, she said, what will you give me? & then she stopped & said I didn't have to answer that because she was going to do it anyway.

True Things:  They came to sit & dangle their feet off the edge of the world & after awhile they forgot everything but the good & true things they would do someday.

Coat Racks Quiet Spaces:  We had gone far enough together to listen easily in the quiet spaces.

No Difference:  There was a boy with skin as dark as the earth & a girl with eyes as blue as the deep & they loved each other so well that people could not tell them apart, for in their hearts, there was no difference between them.

Partners:  Tied together by stuff too difficult to explain to someone new

Sculpture Great Game:  What are the rules? I said & she said, Do exactly what I want whenever I want, make no demands of me whatsoever & love me forever, no questions asked & I said, how do you win? & she said, you don't understand. I'm the only one who wins & then she laughed & clapped her hands. Isn't it a great game? she said.

Beginning:  he followed the sun & she followed the stars & in dreams they listened closely for the beginning of all things, for that was where they knew they'd find each other

The World Itself:  When she held out her arms, the world itself wrapped around me & held me tight.

No More Secret:  I will always remember the day the sun shone dark on your hair & I forgot where we were & kissed you lightly on the nose & suddenly there was no more secret.

Almost Beyond:  She laid on my chest & her breathing filled me almost to beyond what I could hold.

Quiet Prayer:  As long as the sun shall rise goes the old lovers vow. But we are children of a scientific age & have no time for poetry. Still, I offer a quiet prayer of thanks for the sunlight each time I see your face.

Backup Husband:  You can't just say stuff like that, she told me, people will think you're serious & I nodded & said I know & won't they be surprised when they finally figure it out & she shook her head & said she should probably make plans then for a backup husband.

Congratulations & Best Wishes!!!
